Le Mans Classic 2025 Camping

Camping during the Le Mans 24 Hours is a mixture of camaraderie, fun and living on the wild side.

There are a number of campsites – all very close to the circuit, within walking distance or by using the circuit train. Every vehicle will require a permit to camp at the Le Mans circuit during the race week. This will give you approximately a 7m x 5m plot for your vehicle and tent.

If you require more space (for a large motorhome or trailer for example) two or more pitches can be purchased.

Camping during the Le Mans Classic is a popular option. It is not on the scale of the 24 Hours and only a limited number of campsites will be operating. It is the inexpensive and entertaining way to pass a Le Mans motor sport weekend. The Maison Blanche campsite is next to the circuit and has shower and toilet facilities.

Le Mans Classic Campsites

Houx

Well located on the inside of the circuit. Numbered pitches. The only campsite to offer access to electricity. Also has showers and toilets. Close to the tramway.

Epinettes

In the same area as Houx. Has showers and toilets. Good gravel road around the campsite. Close to the tramway. Un-numbered pitches.

Maison Blanche

This campsite borders the track leading up to the Ford Chicane before the Start / Finish straight. Numbered pitches. It has showers and toilets but no electricity.

Houx Annexe

Located close to the Houx campsite and very well located for the tram terminal to the centre of the circuit. Numbered pitches. Has showers and toilets but no electricity.

 
Bleu Nord

Located on the outside of the circuit adjacent Bleu car park. Numbered pitches. A relatively short walk to the start / finish straight although some of the furthest pitches can be a trek. Has showers and toilets but no electricity.

Bleu Sud

Located on the outside of the circuit adjacent Maison Blanche. Numbered pitches. A short walk to the start / finish straight. Has showers and toilets but no electricity.

Beausejour

A large campsite located in the centre of the circuit at the Porsche Curve. Non-numbered pitches. Has showers and toilets. No electricity. There are free access shuttles and in 2023, a fan zone was created in the heart of the campsite with a giant screen and catering areas.

Prairie

New for 2024, located in the centre of the circuit, near the Hunaudieres Straight and also relatively close to the tram terminal for access to the city. Non-numbered pitches. Has showers and toilets. No electricity. There are free access shuttles to the Village and grandstands.

 

Ferries

Brittany Ferry supplement prices subject to fluctuation – call reservations for best options / quotes, and along with P&O Ferries offer a wide choice of departure times throughout the day and night. For Brittany Ferries, it is mandatory to purchase cabins (if available) for overnight crossings.

P&O Ferries offer priority boarding and Club Class Lounge on the Dover-Calais-Dover crossing.

Similarly, for Le Shuttle, Flexiplus (Club Class) travel is available although not on all days over the Le Mans week – please call reservations for a precise quote. FlexiPlus fares are perfect for travellers requiring convenience and flexibility – turn up early or late; you can travel on the next available shuttle.  If you wish to amend your booking you can do so at no extra cost. As a FlexiPlus customer you have use of exclusive Check-in booths and you will be offered the next available departure. With a crossing time of only 35 minutes, Le Shuttle offers the fastest channel crossing. The service operates round the clock, 365 days a year with up to 3 departures an hour during peak periods.

Rail travel from London to Le Mans is possible via Lille. Please note that this is not a service offered by On Site Motorsports.

Flights are freely available to Paris Charles de Gaulle from the UK. Within the airport is the train station and your onward connection to Le Mans would be by rail with a travel time of approximately 1 hour. Please note that this is not a service offered by On Site Motorsports.
