Why go to Le Mans Classic 2025?

One of the greatest motorsport events, the Le Mans Classic celebrates historic cars. It’s a truly special event for motorsport fans, especially those who appreciate classic cars that have taken part in the legendary Le Mans motorsport event.

The Le Mans Classic started in 2002 and is held every two years. It takes place on the grounds of the Le Mans 24 hour race using the renowned Circuit de la Sarthe. This year, it’s the 12th Le Mans Classic event and it takes place over the weekend of 3rd to 6th July 2025. The 2023 event celebrated the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, attracting around 235,000 visitors. And this year promises to be equally epic.

If you appreciate incredible classic cars, this is the motorsport event for you. You’ll get to see classic cars from historic 24 Hours of Le Mans events between 1923 and 1979. We expect there to be over 350 participants. It’s quite something to witness.

Le Mans Classic: Where to stay

Whether you want a hotel right on the race circuit or closer to the town, we offer the widest selection of hotels of any Le Mans Classic tour operator. Alternatively, you could opt for the ever-popular Beausejour campsite inside the circuit.

Hotels

On Site Motorsports is the only tour operator to feature three circuit hotels for the Le Mans Classic. There are no hotels closer to the circuit than the new Hotel H24 and the recently renovated Le Circuit Hotel (formerly Hotel Green 7). Both are a short walk to Tertre Rouge and the main entrance.

The superb Hotel Ibis Styles Mulsanne (formerly Hotel Kyriad) is located right on the Mulsanne corner of the track. You can even watch the racing from the wonderful first-floor terrace!

Other hotels we offer include the lovely Domaine de Chatenay, the ever-popular and wallet-friendly Premiere Classe and the lakeside Campanile Le Sud Arnage.

Camping

Camping during the Le Mans Classic is a popular option. Only a limited number of campsites will be operating at this time. It’s the inexpensive and entertaining accommodation option over a Le Mans motorsport weekend. This year we’re pleased to offer the Beasejour private campsite – situated actually inside the circuit.

Le Mans Travel

There are many ways to get to Le Mans and we can help you with your travel options.

Ferries

Brittany Ferries and P&O both provide channel crossings. There are numerous departure times throughout the day and night from Dover and Folkestone to Calais or from Portsmouth to Caen or St Malo, Poole to Cherbourg or Plymouth to Roscoff.

For the best options, email or call us and we’d be happy to discuss.

For Brittany Ferries, it’s mandatory to purchase cabins (if available) or reserved seating for overnight crossings. Their supplement prices are subject to fluctuation. P&O Ferries offer priority boarding and Club Class Lounges on the Dover-Calais-Dover crossing.

With a crossing time of only 35 minutes, Le Shuttle offers the fastest Channel crossing. The service operates round the clock, 365 days a year with up to 3 departures an hour during peak periods. Le Shuttle operates between Folkestone and Calais.

FlexiPlus (Club Class) travel is perfect for travellers requiring convenience and flexibility. You can amend your booking at no extra cost. As a FlexiPlus customer, you have use of exclusive check-in booths and you’ll be offered the next available departure. However, it’s not available every day, so please check before booking.

Rail travel from London to Le Mans is possible via Lille. However, this is not a service offered by On Site Motorsports.

There are parking options for those travelling by car. Onsite Motorsport has specially reserved infield car parking inside the Bugatti circuit – close to the village and the paddocks. This is restricted to vehicles pre-1971 and those on the approved list.
