Chateau des Arches

Château des Arches is located just outside the village of Yvre-l’Eveque – and is only 7 miles from the main entrance to the Circuit. The imposing château dates from the 18th century and is surrounded by a large, tranquil wooded park. The château is not a full-service hotel, rather a chambre d’hote and the attention from the owners is second to none.

The château has recently undergone extensive renovations; the guestrooms, terrace, swimming pool and Bar B Q area were fully renovated in 2024.

Liam and Richard – the directors of On Site Motorsports – both stayed here during Le Mans 24 Hour in 2024 – so if you have any questions, we’ll hopefully be able to answer!

The property comprises 14 bedrooms in all – spread across three buildings as follows .

Wherever in the property you are staying, a delicious breakfast is included – as is use of the swimming pool.

There is ample parking in the spacious grounds.

The Main House

The Château has 8 refurbished and authentic guest rooms comprising a combination of large twin and double rooms, some which interconnect. Please call us and we can discuss the best room options for you.

The Gatehouse

The newly renovated Château Gatehouse is located at the entrance of the estate. There is a living room, kitchen and bathroom.

From the living room, a spiral staircase leads to the two guest rooms.

Room 1 has two double beds; room 2 has a double bed and a single bed.

The guest rooms are not independent; you need to access one to reach the other so the Gatehouse lends itself to a group.

The bathroom is re-fitted and comes with a shower on the ground floor. The kitchen is new and comes fully equipped.

Maximum occupancy 8 people.

A delicious breakfast is available at the Château at no extra charge.

The Gîte / Cottages

Situated about 50m from the main château, the Gîte comprises a small kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms; A double with en suite bathroom, One double adjoining one twin with a shared bathroom – and another en suite twin. Separate parties could occupy the gîte but it also lends itself well to one larger party.
